Your mission at Sistema.bio:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, your role involves carrying out design calculations by referring to standards/ literature/ engineering principle to determine the design specifications, system failure mode effect analysis for electro-mechanical products and solutions.

You’ll be in charge of:

• Design questionnaire/ requirements gathering document to understand product requirements from different stakeholders.
• Finalize scope of projects based on the requirements in consultation with the Design Head.
• Prepare System failure mode effect analysis for the products/ solutions.
• Conduct research on literature and standards related to different electro-mechanical products and solutions.
• Carry out design calculations for the specific product/ solutions based on standards/ literature to meet the requirements finalized in the project scope document.
• Finalize Design Specification Sheet for the implementation team to build prototypes/ look for products and solutions in the market.

More about YOU:

• Education: BE Mechatronics/Robotics/Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical  with 6-8 years of experience or ME Mechatronics/Robotics/Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical with 4-5 years of experience in relevant field.

Key Experiences & Skills: 

• 4-5 years in Research/ Technical consulting/ Product development/ design engineering.
• Understanding of engineering principle behind development of electro-mechanical products and solutions.
• Motivating and doer’s attitude
• Structured thinking with engineering mindset
• Ability to work with a multicultural team- Motivating and doer’s attitude.
• Excellent writing skills in English.
• Ability to work with a multicultural team.

• This is a full-time position based in Chakan, Pune
• We would preferably look at Immediate Joiners, or candidates with not more than a month’s to 45 days’ notice period to serve.
