Cuberg, a Northvolt company based in Silicon Valley, is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. As a leader in next-generation battery technology, Cuberg is leveraging its state-of-the-art lithium-ion manufacturing capabilities to rapidly scale up production of advanced batteries for a sustainable future. The Director of Supply Chain will play a key role in developing and executing supply chain strategies that support business objectives while ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance customer demand and minimize carrying costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee logistics and transportation activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products
  • Implement and manage key performance metrics to measure and improve supply chain performance
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans
  • Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, related field or equivalent in years of experience
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the battery manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience in developing and executing supply chain strategies
  • Excellent communication interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
  • Experience with supplier management and contract negotiation
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with logistics and transportation processes
  • Experience with ERP systems and supply chain software

The target US compensation range for this full-time position is $150,000-$250,000 + equity + benefits. Compensation ranges are determined by level, role and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire total cash compensation (base + bonus), individual pay is determined by additional factors including relevant job-related skills, experience and additional factors.
