As the People Operations Generalist, you’ll be part of a highly collaborative People Ops organization that supports various sites across the globe on HR and People Ops topics. You'll provide first-line support to the Bay Area offices, from HR, Benefits, and employee inquiries to general office support.
This role is crucial to our ecosystem, focusing on the overall employee/office experience through owning onboarding/offboarding activities, employee events, and recognition programs, etc. To be successful in this role, you'll effectively interface with everyone across multiple teams, locations, and departments with a capable demeanor. Our team firmly believes that every task is important, whether large or small and is seeking someone who wants to help us build something special.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support to employees on a variety of HR-related questions and concerns while partnering with team members to stay current on compliance and employment law.
  • Own onboarding/offboarding, staying up to date with innovative and creative ways to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Provide onsite support for needs such as ordering supplies, liaising with vendors, receiving guests, and performing other tasks to create a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
  • Champion a positive culture with recognition, events, and other programs.
  • Provide other HR support such as leave of absence administration, maintaining employee records, participating in HR-related audits, and performing additional projects/tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in HR or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of HR/People Ops and Office Support experience
  • Understanding of HR principles and practices. Exposure to benefits and compensation analysis is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects. 
  • Highly resourceful, analytical, and self-motivated, with the ability to pivot and prioritize.
  • High level of integrity and discretion, and passion for people support.

Manufacturing and Engineering Departments Physical Requirements:
-Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
-This position will often: Sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist,  climb, balance, stoop, squat,  kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions. 
-Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs
-Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls
-Lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pound
