The Role

As our Senior Product Manager, you will join our team of Product experts and play a key role in developing constellr’s data pipeline processing for geospatial datasets. Reporting directly to our Head of Product, you will have strategic responsibilities ensuring this is scalable. With high visibility across the company and a direct impact on our company’s success, you will help drive and build our state-of-the-art data processing capabilities to serve our customers with land surface temperature data at scale. Your role will involve the following;

  • Product Strategy: Develop, shape and execute our product strategy by tackling the most important market opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement & Product Discovery: Engage with B2B customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure the product meets or exceeds their expectations.
  • Drive the validations & testing of solution improvements.
  • Product Roadmap & Requirement Management: Define and prioritise product ideas, creating a clear product roadmap that guides development efforts.
  • Ensure translation of customer needs into coherent product requirements.
  • Data Processing Pipeline: Guide & steer the product team in developing the data pipeline for processing geospatial datasets.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Ensure alignment in cross-functional team engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish and track Objectives Key Results (OKRs) and product metrics to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Leadership: Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a collaborative team environment.


Location – Our product team are remotely based across Germany & Belgium with travel and meet-ups at our offices (Freiburg, Munich, Brussels) when required. We offer remote working for this position – however its highly beneficial if you are in Germany or Belgium to connect with the product & wider teams.



About you

  • A Master´s degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, Geospatial Science or a related field.
  • Proven senior-level product management experience, successfully managing and launching data, cloud, and SaaS products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing technical and design direction for large-scale systems, creating product roadmaps from conception to launch.
  • Deep understanding of data pipelines.
  • Experience handling earth observation data including geospatial data is highly beneficial, however, some familiarity is sufficient. 
  • Ideally knowledge about preparing data sets for statistical analysis and ML/AI applications.
  • Experience with product discovery, market research and competitive analysis.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically, evolving product strategy based on research, data and market trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in product management processes & tools (e.g. requirement & backlog management, product roadmaps), experience working in agile teams.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence multiple stakeholders and experience in guiding cross-functional teams.
