Skeleton's Scale-Up team is looking for a driven

Technical Planning Lead

with the vision to match our ambition.

In this role, you will spearhead the planning of factory projects, focusing on building infrastructure, equipment placement, and work area design. This role involves leading the entire project for industrial engineering, including obtaining necessary permits, optimizing layouts, and ensuring efficient material flow for production.

Your tasks in the net zero journey:

  • Factory Planning: Oversee the planning and implementation of factory project, including building design, equipment installation, and work area optimization followed by lean principles
  • Project Management: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery of factory projects.
  • Permits and Compliance: Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
  • Layout and Material Flow: Design efficient layouts to optimize material flow and production efficiency. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of equipment and work areas.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, production departments, and external stakeholders. Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities effectively.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources efficiently to ensure project success. Monitor resource utilization and adjust as needed.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all technical deliverables meet high-quality standards. Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and prepare regular status reports for senior management.


Requirements

We don’t expect to master it all. At Skeleton, you’ll have the support of the team and we work together to achieve our goals. However, there are requirements you should be able to fulfill to succeed in this role:

  • Successfully completed studies as an Engineer / Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related field. Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5years of experience in factory planning, technical project management, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex factory projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, AutoCAD).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Financial acumen and experience with budget management.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
  • Have fluent German and English language skills.
