As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will work on applications that use deep learning and satellite data to help companies and countries fight deforestation, to monitor critical infrastructure and to respond faster and more precisely to natural disasters, among other things. Our aim is to empower any user in the world to utilize the power of earth observation satellites to simplify and improve their daily work. To this end, you would architect and build frontend applications, shared components and potentially microfrontends for a variety of use cases using architectural and development best practices. If you are comfortable with the full stack, you can simultaneously work on the backend as well. As a young company, you can influence, improve and shape how we work, code and approach things extensively. Your challenge
  • Design, build and run frontend applications for existing and greenfield applications.
  • Refactor, redesign, rebuild existing applications.
  • Become a key expert on frontend approaches and architecture.
  • Align with other frontend experts in the company and influence the evolution of our tech stack.
  • Mentor more junior engineers and review their MRs.
Your profile
  • Experience with Typescript and React, VueJS or React; 
  • Experience as a Senior/Lead Frontend Engineer;
  • A knack for good design and UX to become the sparring partner of our UX designers;
  • Familiarity with modern software development, architecture and system design best practices;
  • Experience with CI/CD Tooling;
  • Experience with online maps systems, and data visualization;
  • First experience with monorepo;
  • Familiarity with NestJS;
  • Familiar with AWS services.
