World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s leading conservation organizations, seeks a Senior Accounting Specialist.
Major Function
The Senior Accounting Specialist performs a variety of accounting activities, including monthly bank reconciliations, performs the daily cash flow analysis, monitors the bank and credit card accounts, processes the daily deposits on specific dates and reviews, approves, and posts accruals, receivables, and journal entry reclassification's.
Salary: The expected compensation range for this position is $74,700 - $93,300.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 4 -6 years of experience preferably in Accounting or Business, with a concentration in accounting or equivalent experience is required.• Must have demonstrated reconciliation skills.• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, including the ability to communicate complex issues both verbally and in writing.• Ability to effectively prioritize and produce high-quality work under time constraints.• Excellent organizational skills.
Strong research and analytical skills.• Ability to operate with independence, under pressure, and to meet deadlines and commitments.• Proficient in Excel and experience with Workday Financials Accounting System are strongly preferred.

** This is a hybrid position that requires a 2-day minimum in the WWF Washington, DC HQ office.
