We invest in that future by financing and managing renewable energy projects that benefit diverse communities through clean power, carbon reduction, cost savings, and job creation. Sunwealth has offices in Cambridge’s Porter Square and New York City’s financial district. We welcome candidates based either in the greater Boston or New York City areas. Remote positions are also considered.
The Project Development Associate will play a key role on a small team focused on revolutionizing renewable energy investment. The Associate will be reporting to the Senior Manager of the Western Region and will support the acquisition, development, and management of Sunwealth’s growing portfolio of solar projects, with an emphasis on the Western region of the United States. This includes independently developing and managing external partnerships, projects, and pipelines. This role is highly external-facing, involving daily interactions with new and existing partners and customers.
The Associate will also assist the Senior Manager in building out a regional business development strategy, determining which markets align best with Sunwealth’s investment parameters and overall corporate mission to provide solar financing to diverse communities to change who benefits from renewable energy. While reporting to the Senior Manager, the Associate will have the opportunity to work across disciplines, supporting our project finance, asset management, community solar, investor development, and business development teams. The Associate will champion growth in the western region and assist in team expansion and process improvement.
