At Einride, you'll have the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and impactful policy. You’ll gain hands-on experience in shaping the future of electric transportation while working with a passionate and driven team. If you’re eager to make a difference and contribute to a sustainable future, apply for our internship program today!

What you'll do:

  • Create Policy Assessments: Evaluate federal, state, and local policies affecting Einride’s business. These may include heavy-duty electric vehicle regulations, tax incentives, environmental subsidies, and federal fund disbursements.
  • Support Regulatory Efforts: Participate in webinars and virtual hearings run by government agencies or trade associations such as the Electrification Coalition, Clean & Prosperous Washington, CTA, CARB, and CalStart. Assist Einride’s efforts, both directly through regulatory filings, public comments, and letters to public agencies, and through these events, to drive regulatory and legislative outcomes that ensure the success of our business.
  • Track and Analyze Government Actions: Monitor various government agency developments, policy proposals, and budgets. Keep our database of public funding incentives up-to-date to ensure information is accurate, well-organized, and easily accessible. Support the identification of grant funding opportunities for Einride projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate Internally: Partner with Einride’s commercial and solution architecture teams to understand Einride’s current offerings and gain insights on how transportation, energy, and connectivity policies can impact our business. Ensure other teams at Einride understand how various policy dynamics may inform commercial and product decisions. Share your research and policy assessments with Einride executives and the wider organization to inform strategic decisions.

What we're looking for:

  • You are currently enrolled in either a bachelor's or master's degree university program
  • An understanding of key regulations, agencies, and overall policy environment that impact electric vehicles and Einride’s business
  • Demonstrated interest or coursework in EVs, charging infrastructure, freight, solar, energy storage, and/or adjacent environmental/climate issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and constructively within a team and among internal/external stakeholders
  • Passion and determination to contribute to the success of zero-emission freight initiatives
