What you will be doing

This is an exciting time to join Breathe. Having proven the value of our products in both the automotive and consumer electronics spaces, we are scaling our Product Team. You will define Breathe’s product roadmap and collaborate with the engineering teams to deliver new products and features that meet the needs of our customers.

You are responsible for providing technical product leadership to drive growth and profitability of Breathe Battery Technologies. The role requires frequent collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Engineering teams to deliver new products, manage the existing portfolio of products and support the commercial team to drive growth.

Your day to day

Product Definition

• Coordinate the collection and analysis of customer use cases and user stories to ensure delivery of a product that fits their needs
• Carry out an analysis of our existing products (Breathe life and Breathe charge) and work closely with the CTO to provide the team with a vision of new products and features to be developed
• Analyse market trends, competition, technical innovations to identify how we can improve our products

Product Development

• Define and own the product development roadmap for Breathe’s products and communicate it to internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with the Head of Development, ensuring that performance and schedule objectives are met
• Work closely with the project teams to ensure customer feedback is taken into account

Product Marketing

• Work with marketing to define the value proposition and competitive advantages of different products
• Work closely with marketing to develop technical specifications and product information
• Help define go-to-market strategies to successfully launch new products and features

Commercial Product support

• Collaborate with the sales team on commercialising the product road map and new products
• Support with the preparation of RFI/RFQ responses and commercial pitches
• Provide a first level technical response to any product related questions
• Provide technical support to and roadmaps to customers as part of the sales process

Your background

• Proven technical industry experience or qualification in chemistry, engineering, or a relevant subject
• Proven product management experience - Automotive or Consumer electronics is a plus
• Proven experience in a technical, product/service management, strategic planning, or directly related experience.
• Knowledge of cell chemistry and working mechanisms of lithium-ion batteries is a plus
• Experience with Software development, Battery Management Systems and or Battery Monitoring is a plus
• Ability to quickly develop cross-functional relationships to achieve business objectives.
• Demonstrated competence in problem solving, data analysis, & project management.
• Process and results oriented with proven ability to accomplish goals.
• Ability to work in a Kind and Conscientious manner
