Lilium, the designer and manufacturer of the world’s first electric Vertical Take-off and Landing (eVTOL) Jet, is in search of an experienced and highly organized Investor Relations Manager.

Given the growth trajectory of the company and its global presence (registered in the Netherlands, headquartered in Germany and publicly traded in the US on the NASDAQ), the advancement possibilities for this role are substantial and likely rapid. This will be a remote role, ideally located in the Eastern Time Zone in the US. Must be time flexible to accommodate European Central Time on occasion.

Your Day to Day: 

  • Support Investor Relations activity
  • Support US corporate development activity
  • Oversee analysis of our sell-side analyst models
  • Assist in the analysis of our shareholder base and contribute to the identification of prospective shareholders
  • Support the team in maintaining a proactive, timely and consistent communications cadence with existing and potential investors
  • Contribute to and execute on investor relations calendar
  • Assist in managing and optimizing our Investor Relations website
  • Assist in quarterly earnings preparation and processes as needed
  • Stay up-to-date on economic, political, regulatory, industry, and stock market trends, and perform competitive research to enable a clear understanding of our relative performance and valuation
  • Assist in financial modeling against the internal business plan
  • Assist in corporate development and fundraising efforts as needed
  • Create presentations and messaging documents to convey our operational and financial performance and opportunities
  • Lead or assist in corporate development workstreams and project management
  • Assist in Investor Relations and Corporate Development events such as Roadshows, Industry Conferences, Earnings Calls, Capital Market Days, Investor Field Trips to HQ,  Airshow coordination, etc
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including Corporate Development, Compliance, Legal, Operations and external stakeholders including Bankers, Auditors, etc
  • Operate independently and become a key backup to the Head of Global IR and US Corporate Development

Your Profile: 

  • A strong academic background 
  • Minimum of 4 years of investor relations, equity research (buy-side or sell-side), investment banking, management consulting, or financial planning and analysis experience
  • Experience gained within the Commercial Aerospace, Capital Goods, Clean Energy, Technology or Industrial sectors 
  • Strict adherence to compliance requirements is a must
  • Natural curiosity and rigorous work ethic are prerequisites
  • Self- starter with strong project management and follow through skills
  • Data-driven strategic mindset with deep understanding of financial and investment analysis
  • Strong Excel modeling techniques and PowerPoint experience
  • FactSet or Bloomberg experience
  • Comfortable interacting with C-level, sell-side analysts and investors
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to cultivate relationships with personnel across the firm
  • Strong client service orientation
  • Creative problem solvers who can prioritize multiple tasks, shift priorities with changing demands and meet deliverables in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Capacity to discretely handle highly confidential (material non-public information) and sensitive information
  • Experience with CRM and IR systems preferred, but not a must
  • Open to travel (both domestic and international) about 5-10% of the time
