Requirements

About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager responsible for our suite of climate-related products across data, analytics, and platform. These include our flagship ITR score, emissions estimation models, and climate analytics dashboards and reports. You will lead the development of products and strategic partnerships to assist corporates with their climate regulatory reporting under ISSB in the ESG Book platform, such as transition plans and carbon accounting. Your responsibilities will include:

·         Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.

·         Analyze customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build-vs.-buy perspective.

·         Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.

·         Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams.

·         Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation.

·         Analyze market data to develop sales strategies and define product objectives for effective marketing communications.

·         Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates ESG Book across primary market segments.

·         Act as a product evangelist and lead ESG Book’s thought leadership with respect to climate.

 

Requirements and skills

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills are required since you will have to communicate with team members, other departments, upper management and clients.

·         Expertise in climate analytics, climate finance or corporate climate consulting

·         Superior project management and interpersonal skills

·         Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure

·         Natural tendency to be curious, positive and creative

·         Team player who collaborates well with others

·         Proficiency in Python and SQL
