GIS Analyst (contract)

Lithos Carbon is an innovative early-stage carbon removal company and market leader in the enhanced rock weathering space. We specialize in the development and commercial deployment of cutting-edge technologies to combat climate change and improve soil health for agricultural lands.

In this contract role, you will work directly with our Operations and Science teams to:

• Create boundaries from PDF maps
• Create sampling plans (sampling points)
• Review & analyze spreading application data from VRA systems

This role would require ~20 hours of work per week. The posted hourly rate for this role is $35/hour.

This work is expected to begin immediately and continue through October, 2024.

Requirements

• Intermediate-level experience with QGIS (editing multiple layers, creating custom boundaries, etc.)
• Ability to manipulate data between different formats (ISO, XML, etc.)
• Comfortable with MacOS, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, and Slack
• Ability to comfortably handle multiple, overlapping projects
• Strong attention to detail
