About the Position:
- Job Title: Project Manager

Responsibilities:
- Utilize industry standard Project Management best practices to lead project teams to meet project KPI鈥檚 regarding scope, cost, schedule and quality for the various project(s) as assigned. Project assignments may vary in size, including but not limited to internal Origin initiatives related to Manufacturing, Product Development, R&D, and Capital Deployment.
- Steer project execution through Origin Stage Gate Process as applicable to ensure project cost, schedule, and quality requirements are achieved.
- Utilize Team Charters and related Project Plans to guide project team to meet project objectives and goals.
- Motivate team members to successfully transition through various stages of team development. Conduct team alignment and KO sessions as required based on project type, size and duration.
- Clearly and frequently communicate project progress, potential issues, constraints and/or risks, and resource requirements within project team as well as to relevant business stakeholders.
- Assume accountability for Risk Management process for assigned project(s), leading the team(s) to address and implement relevant strategies to control risks.
- Successfully identify and manage changes, with timely stakeholder notification regarding Changes or Deviations.
- Apply industry standard Project Management practices to measure, track, monitor and control project schedule, cost and quality - including but not limited to Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Compile and present project reports as required to various functional and management teams.
- Ensure project documentation is well managed with clear handover to relevant stakeholders as part of project closeout.
- Drive continuous improvement on projects as well as project management processes.
- Uphold Safety and Integrity as integral components of Origin鈥檚 culture.
Qualifications:
- Educational requirements
- Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Engineering; Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, preferred
- Relevant experience
- 5+ years Chemical Industry experience
- 5+ years of project management in specialty chemicals manufacturing and/or EPC similar sector
- Experience utilizing adaptive project management frameworks (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
- Skills and competencies
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification or equivalent project management certification
- New Product Development experience
- Lean / Six Sigma Certification and demonstrated experience with continuous improvement techniques
- Experience with ERP (NetSuite / SAP / Oracle) or other project cost management tools
Salary Range: This position is a Level 3 at Origin Materials. The pay range for this position level at Origin Materials is $80,500 - $158,000. This range is not necessarily a guarantee of actual compensation that may be earned nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee, which is always dependent on relevant experience, education and other factors.
