In light of its further international business expansion, Parkwind is looking to enlarge its Controlling team with a Junior Business Controller.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the planning, controlling and reporting activities of operational windfarms;
  • Responsible for budget/forecast exercises and variance analyses;
  • Responsible for preparing profit and loss, and cash flow analysis to enable decision-making; evaluate changes in account balances and identify items requiring escalation;
  • Daily controlling of the operational windfarms in close collaboration with our Operations and Maintenance team in Oostende;
  • Monthly closing activities of the operational windfarms in close collaboration with the accounting department;
  • Responsible for preparation of reporting towards internal and external stakeholders (management, shareholders, etc.);
  • Provide support in preparing board and management presentations;
  • Responsible for the key assumptions in our operational financial models;
  • Participate and contribute to continuously improving reporting, controlling and planning processes, which help drive the operational efficiency of the company.




Profile:

  • You obtained a master’s degree in finance;
  • You have a first relevant work experience;
  • You have a good ability to understand the key operational drivers of the business;
  • You like to be at the crossroads of the business activities, the finance department and project finance;
  • You have a good knowledge of accounting principles. 
  • You are an advanced user of MS Office. Experience with SAP, Power BI and reporting systems is a plus.
  • You are accurate and have strong analytical skills;
  • You have good social and communicative skills and can work both in team as autonomous;
  • You speak and write fluently English. Dutch and/or French is an asset.
