This position is a hybrid role (3x per week onsite) that will be based at our headquarters in Fremont, California. 

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do 

• Develop in-depth understanding of our customers to create buyer/user personas that inform product decisions. 

• Lead quantitative and qualitative research, synthesize findings, and make recommendations to senior product leadership. 

• Translate customer needs and business goals into intuitive, valuable product features. 

• Create user stories and work with UX designers on flows and prototypes. 

• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure technical feasibility and timely delivery. 

• Continually track and analyze usage metrics to measure experience success and uncover areas for optimization. 

• Stay up to date on market trends, emerging best practices, and competitors. 

Here is some of what you’ll need (required) 

• 7+ years serving as a Software Product Manager for software applications in the renewable energy industry. 

• Strong background in managing energy infrastructure solutions, comprising of hardware and software components 

• Passion for understanding customer needs and advocating for the customer experience. 

• Strong analytical abilities and data-driven mindset. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

Here are a few of our preferred experiences 

• Experience working in a startup environment 

• Experience working in the solar industry; utility scale solar experience is a plus 

• Ability to drive alignment across multiple functions and drive decisions 

 Salary in CA: $150,000 to $185,000 + Bonus + RSUs
