Main Function & Scope

The Project Coordinator (UK) is part of the Asset Excellence team, reporting to the Project Manager (UK). The Project Coordinator will provide project coordination and logistical support to the Project Delivery team and the wider Asset Excellence teams for the implementation of project initiatives. This role will also support the development, improvement and documentation of associated processes and procedures. 


This role is for a fixed term contract for 2 years. 


Location

We operate an Agile Working policy which allows employees to work flexibly near our office locations. You must have the right to work in the UK/European Union.


Key Responsibilities


Project Initiatives (Planning)

  • Support the Project team in the development and maintenance of each project plan timeline.
  • Provide overall input on deployment strategy.
  • Provide support in tendering processes
  • Achieve an intimate understanding of each project plan and the work scope
  • Support and coordinate project kick off meetings, ensuring that all key stakeholders are included and receive all required information.


Project Initiative (Deployment)

    Play a key role in achieving safe project completion:

    • Coordinate both onsite and offsite contractor, suppliers’ activities against agreed schedules
    • Manage the interface between and key internal stakeholders such as asset management team.
    • Support the Project Manager in managing the project budget, claims, variations and payments
    • Supporting Project Manager in managing process of applying alternative Safe Systems of Work on site
    • Ensure continuous compliance with relevant Health, Safety and Environmental standards and legislation, including wind turbine safety rules
    • Prepare necessary project reporting, including creating and updating dashboards.

    Relevant Experience

    Essential

    • Project coordination (different types of projects considered)

    Desirable

    • Previous experience in engineering or renewable energy 


    Education & Qualifications

    • Qualification in technical discipline (desirable)


    Language Skills

    • Fluent in English (essential);
    • Additional Portuguese, Spanish, French or German languages would be advantageous.


    Software Programmes

    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Project Planning software, such as Smartsheet and MS Project (desirable)

     

    Travel Requirements 

    Occasional travel across our portfolio, project sites and offices may be required.
