Job Description:

Your Responsibilities 

  • In this role you are responsible for identifying, managing, and controlling interfaces in one of our complex projects.
  • You help to create a transparent picture of the status of our projects and give recommendations for priorities that lead to optimal progress.
  • By anticipating, understanding, and influencing interfaces in the project, you have a positive impact on the project's deliveries, whether it concerns time, cost and/or quality.
  • You ensure that we always have a good flow of information and communication across the project's internal as well as external interfaces.
  • You work with interfaces in the Engineering part of an EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) project.
  • In the project, you report to a PEM (Project Engineering Manager), at the same time as you belong to a department with Project Engineering Managers (PEM) and Project Interface Managers (PIM).

Your Background  

  • We would like you to have a relevant university degree and at least 5 years of experience in project management or similar.
  • You enjoy working in an organization that values transparency and freedom under responsibility, you contribute with positive energy, innovative thinking, and a genuine commitment.
  • You have experience of working in large complex projects, preferably civil engineering projects and you take on challenges with an innovative and problem-solving approach.
  • You are confident in your leadership role and are good at creating long-term relationships, both internally within your project, within HVDC as an organization and with other external stakeholders.
  • As we work in a global organization, you need good knowledge of English. Other languages used within the group are meritorious.
  • If you have experience with HVDC and/or PMI/PMP certifications, it is advantageous.
