EV Engineer

We’re looking for Domestic EV installers to join our team in all locations nationwide!

Join our team as a Domestic EV Installer and be at the forefront of the renewables revolution. You'll represent Energise Energy Solutions and major suppliers in the country, providing exceptional service to customers in their homes. Maintaining our reputation of EVIES contractor of the year 2023. Your role will involve ensuring the safe and efficient installation of EV charging equipment while educating customers on its usage.

About the role:

• Serve as an Energise ambassador, prioritising safety and delivering outstanding support for customers' EV needs.
• Conduct and document risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Perform installations in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Assist customers with site assessments, optimising charging unit placement and electrical requirements for user convenience.

Role requirements:

• 2 years of electrical experience (required)
• Valid driving licence with fewer than 6 points (required)
• 18th Edition certification (required)
• NVQ Level 3 electrician or Gold JIB card holder, and ideally 2391 (required)
• 2919 – EV Installer certification (preferred)
• Proven ability to provide excellent customer support and take ownership of issues.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Effective planning and organisational skills.
