Summary of Position: The Digital Marketing Associate is a fast learner and results-driven individual who is responsible for helping and developing all agency digital media initiatives including social media and websites, assisting with development of new client digital audits and participate in new business presentations and reporting. And doing so in a fast-paced environment where smart decisions must be made quickly. We are looking for an Associate who has the ability to collaborate with a team effectively. Adaptability and a continuous learning mindset are also crucial in this dynamic field.

We’re looking for a digital marketer who can:

  • Execute digital and social audits.

  • Publish and manage organic social media.

  • Maintain and update the ERM Shelton and client websites.

  • Create presentations to assist the digital marketing team.

  • Manage influencer relationships and vendor relationships such as publications.

  • SEO knowledge and an understanding of the Google search engine algorithm.

  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop new owned and earned digital media strategies.

  • Produce digital analytics reports.

  • Assist with developing ideas for digital strategy and execution, including sites, apps, digital media, social media, email campaigns, content marketing, and more.

  • Assist in the development and execution of media plans.

  • Create intuitive user experiences in the form of annotated site maps, user flows, wireframes and other common UX deliverables.

  • Ensure that key stakeholders are fully informed of progress and performance.

  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure on-time, on-spec, and on-budget delivery of digital products.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing communications or related field.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic familiarity with web analytics tools, particularly the Google Analytics suite (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager).

  • General understanding of SEO (on-site, off-site, technical) best practices.

  • Experience using social media platforms.

  • Basic design skills.

  • Strong communication abilities.

  • Basic familiarity with CRM tools.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, WordPress and other digital technologies.

  • Experience in WordPress, Optimizely, HubSpot and other website and app platforms.

Bonus points for:

  • Basic experience with email marketing campaigns.

  • Familiarity with HTML and animated banner/ad development.

  • Understanding of marketing tactics, strategies, and best practices.

  • Experience developing interactive wireframes and user flows, ensuring alignment with project goals and user requirements.

  • Basic knowledge of paid media strategies.
