Job Description Summary

Responsible for managing integrated process design of parts and services transactional flow between Foundational Systems, Digital Services and RACES ERP that support the Wind Segment Maintain & Upgrade Business Value Stream. The System Product Manager will collaborate with DT ERP Product Owners, Wind Segment DT Digital Services, GE Vernova HQ team, and Wind Segment business leadership to establish a comprehensive roadmap with clear and descriptive set of requirements to build a pipeline of continuous improvement portfolio for ERP and relevant integrations and platforms related to the Value Stream process for delivering parts and services to the Wind Segment customer base. Contributing to a wholistic systematic solution, the System Product Manager will collaborate with RACES product owners and other platform leaders covering systems such as: GE Vernova’s Lifespan, Salesforce Marketplace & CPQ, Maximo, ServiceMax, and WorkDay Payroll to ensure a seamless transactional definition is created and a proper process monitoring and proactive defect resolution design is implemented.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

 

  • Demonstrate business acumen, know the latest industry trends and will be looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape.
  • Interact with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and significant products.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product.
  • Routinely collaborate with UX in design decisions.
  • Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate on personas.
  • Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and technical teams.
  • Own the releases and sprint backlogs, short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases.
  • Own and manage the backlog; continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready.
  • Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.
  • Demonstrate strategic level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.
  • Engages frequently (50% of the time) with the development team; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contribute to design activities and decisions.
  • Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit.
  • Partner with Development Leadership/Service Owners to ensure healthy development process.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Leverage expertise in Agile Methodology.

 

Education Qualification

 Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with advanced experience.

  • Background in integration and process monitoring technology
  • Strong knowledge of software design and coding principles
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Familiarity with versatile implementation options
