Strategic Purchaser (m/f/x)

Your tasks:

• You carry out market analyses and identify suppliers for materials and components. 
• You will lead the tactical purchasing processes regarding negotiations, contract design, supplier and contract implementation. 
• You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, including evaluating performance and identifying opportunities for improvement. 
• You will monitor orders and ensure timely deliveries. 
• You work with internal stakeholders to create functional and technical requirement specifications. 
• You identify potential cost savings and implement efficiency measures in the procurement process.
• You ensure compliance with quality standards and legal requirements in the procurement of materials. 
• You create reports and analyses for the ongoing optimization of the procurement process.

Your profile:

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or have a comparable qualification. 
• You have several years of professional experience in strategic and project-related purchasing, ideally in the automotive sector. 
• You have negotiating skills and strong communication skills as well as analytical skills to carry out market analyses and evaluate supplier data.
• You have knowledge of contract law and are familiar with contract negotiation.
• You have experience in the use of procurement and ERP systems.
• You have an excellent command of written and spoken German and a good command of English.
