We are seeking a Product Business Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Product Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the commercialization of our offerings, managing contracts, developing pricing strategies, aligning operational processes, and enabling our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercialization, packaging, and pricing inB2B SaaS and/or Platform services.
You will report to the Director, Go-to-Market, and work in close collaboration with product, marketing, sales, customer success, and support teams.
The preferred location for the role is Finland with the possibility to work in one of our other locations in Germany.
What you’ll do
Commercialization of the Offering:
- Develop and implement strategies for the commercialization of our software products.
- Manage and develop contracts related to the product, ensuring compliance and maximizing profitability.
- Create and refine pricing strategies to optimize revenue and market competitiveness.
- Align operational processes to support the effective launch and management of products.
Project Management for Individual Productizations:
- Serve as the project manager for the productization of individual software offerings.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all product development activities are aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
Sales Enablement:
- Develop and deliver sales enablement materials to support the sales team in effectively selling our offerings.
- Conduct training sessions for the sales team on product features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
- Work closely with sales leadership to identify and address knowledge gaps and training needs.
- Create compelling sales collateral and presentations to aid the sales process.
- Provide direct sales support for large cases, assisting the sales team in closing high-value deals.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning to enhance market presence and customer engagement.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to inform future product developments and improvements.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and successful product execution.
- Communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
- Foster relationships with key clients and industry partners to gather insights and feedback for continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in commercialization, packaging, and pricing of software products, especially in a SaaS environment.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully launching software products.
- Excellent understanding of contract management and operational process alignment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective pricing strategies.
- Experience in sales enablement, including the creation of sales materials and conducting training sessions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in SaaS and B2B Platform product management and commercialization.
