Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Volunteer Backend Tech Lead and an experienced VolunteerFrontend Tech Lead to join our team of 100+ global volunteers in building a digital platform, including gamification, to support the missions of Zero Emissions World.
Backend Tech Lead Requirements:
-technical expertise in Java Spring Boot, Docker, and microservices architecture
-AWS experience a plus
Frontend Tech Lead Requirements:
-technical expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks (ideally NextJS)
-experience in deploying applications to AWS is very welcome
Overall Requirements for both opportunities:
-strong leadership and project management skills to deliver high quality web solutions, including timelines, objectives, and outcomes
-the ability to lead and mentor a team of developers in developing and delivering an end-to-end solution, providing guidance on coding standards, best practices, documentation, and troubleshooting
-the ability to explain new projects to the team
