Tomorrow.io’s Finance and Accounting Team supports all teams globally with relevant and timely financial data in order to make informed business decisions. We interact with each team at the Company and provide support across all business units, focused on tracking key metrics to drive our goals forward.

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented Senior Accountant to join our team!  This is a high growth, fast paced startup allowing you to leverage your knowledge and gain valuable experience across multiple processes (GAAP Accounting, International Compliance, NetSuite, Expense Reporting, Inventory, Payroll, 401k).

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own full cycle accounts payable process including processing vendor bills, preparing bi-weekly payments, handling expense reports, and vendor onboarding.
  • Process semi-monthly payroll for US entity, manage employee 401K plan, and ensure state tax registrations are completed and accurate
  • Assist FP&A Manager with preparing and monitoring budgets as well as preparing a monthly flux analysis
  • Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, processes and procedures 
  • Assist with annual audit preparations as well as ad-hoc audits (eg. 401K, bank audits, et al)
  • Act as a key player in the month end close by maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts 
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financials and ad hoc reports and presentations for management 
  • Ensure employee expense reports are in adherence with company policies 
  • Manage virtual credit card platform and monitor spend 
  • Participate in other ad hoc projects, system integrations, and reporting requirements as needed

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-3 years prior accounting experience
  • Recent NetSuite experience required; preferably experience implementing software tool
  • Prior payroll experience, specifically ADP
  • Month end close experience
  • Experience at a start-up or in a high growth, dynamic environment 
  • Public accounting experience a plus
