Role Summary
Are you a highly-creative social media communicator with a sharp eye for visual impact and a way with words? We are looking for a talented, native Latin American Spanish-speaking Digital Communications specialist to build up and manage our digital channels, mainly on Social Media, with the aim to grow a community in Latin America. As a Community Manager, you need to know how to create impactful, creative content (aligned with ProVeg’s strategy and with the support of the Senior Communications Manager). You should also be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. Ideally, you combine excellent communication skills with the necessary creativity to be able to express ProVeg International’s mission, vision, and all our output in a clear, concise, engaging, and impactful manner. You’ll manage content for social media, the ProVeg Latam website, and our newsletters under the guidance of the Senior Communications Manager. Additionally, you are adept at engaging with influencers and followers and building relationships that grow and elevate ProVeg’s profile. Job Details

Department: International Communications

Location: Remote, Latin America (ideally in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Peru or Colombia) 

Hours: 32 h per week

Responsibilities
  • Manage ProVeg Latam social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, and potentially Linkedin and X in the future).

  • Follow, adjust and enhance the SoMe strategy with the goal of creating and growing a community in Spanish-speaking Latin America.

  • Create SoMe assets that are aligned with branding according to the content schedules.

  • Social Ads management according to the established strategy.

  • Interact with the community and build loyal relationships, including relationships with influencers.

  • Editing and translating articles for the website, and writing new blog posts.

  • Creation and management of newsletters.

  • Statistics analysis and reporting.

  • Adapt and implement ProVeg’s international campaigns.

  • Content curation and coolhunting.

  • Develop knowledge of plant-based-related issues and trends relevant to the role.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish - native Latin American Spanish speaker.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital communications, advertising and PR, master's degree in community management or other relevant fields.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in managing digital channels.

  • Highly creative mind.

  • Independent and proactive self-starter.

  • Experience creating content for social media networks. You will use Canva, but any other design or video editing programme are a nice to have.

  • Basic knowledge of WordPress.

  • Excellent copywriting skills.

  • Strong collaboration and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a fully remote, but supportive team and to develop and maintain positive employee relations.

  • Identification with ProVeg International’s values, goals, and mission.


Preferred:

  • Knowledge of SEO.

  • Experience using Mailchimp.

  • Analytical and multitasking skills.

  • Experience in working with people from different backgrounds as well as a strong commitment to equal opportunities.

  • Photography and video creating/editing skills.

  • Existing network of relevant bloggers and influencers in Latam.

  • Experience in handling project-management tools (especially Wrike, training will be provided).
