Your Opportunity 


As a Commercial Analyst at Kathairos, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our organizational commercial business development goals. By synthesizing complex data into actionable intelligence, you will empower our team with critical competitive knowledge, sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics. Your responsibilities include navigating current industry trends, identifying and prioritizing lucrative growth opportunities in the market, and effectively communicating comprehensive market data and intelligence from trusted sources. Additionally, your expertise in facilitating collaboration across cross-functional teams—such as sales, marketing, and operations—will drive the achievement of our sales objectives, ensuring alignment with Kathairos’ strategic goals.” 


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive intelligence.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to support business decision-making.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including CRM management, sales documentation, sales targeting, and lead generation.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Monitor industry developments and provide timely updates to the commercial team.
  • Participate in the development of commercial strategies and business plans.
  • Implement and fulfill Know Your Customer (KYC) processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Verify customer identities, conduct due diligence, and maintain accurate records as part of the KYC process.
  • Routine support of the customer proposal development and submission process.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or other business-related field
  • 1-5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial aptitude and intuition with a keen interest in market dynamics.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience with implementing and managing KYC processes is highly desirable.
     

Valued (Nice to have)

  • Preferred academic background in MIS (Management Information Systems)
  • Previous experience in market analysis, sales support, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI or other data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Development and application of coding languages or systems such as Python, R, and SQL for performing data analysis and visualization
  • Knowledge of the oil and gas industry is an advantage but not required.
