We are searching for an experienced, disciplined Program manager who is passionate about metrics-driven delivery excellence and Agile as a philosophy and is excited about being able to change the way millions of people save energy.
As the Program Manager in an individual contributor(IC) role, you will be responsible for helping product and engineering teams optimize delivery for our customers. You will help teams identify and drive toward key outcomes and metrics that will continuously improve our capabilities towards an optimized DevOps culture. You will be an agent of change across product, engineering and our key stakeholders. You will help establish new frameworks for how we work, planning the projects within your product portfolio and overseeing the implementation and ongoing management of those projects. This work includes leading the development of project delivery plans/scenarios, monitoring and reporting on the program’s status, tracking dependencies, and facilitating tradeoff and prioritization conversations with cross functional teams. You will also directly project manage the delivery of selected projects within your product portfolio.
In this role, you will get to work with a team of Product Managers who will be based in India and globally, who are responsible for the lifecycle management of our products and solutions. You’ll be a part of mentoring, coaching, and supporting a talented and passionate group. You will be accountable for achieving target results across your program’s scope.
To be successful, you’ll need to collaborate with external stakeholders and Uplight Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Implementation, and Account Management teams. The right candidate needs to be adept and effective at cross functional communication and coordination. You will need to be comfortable operating at both the strategic level (e.g. process improvement; long-term planning; etc) and at the tactical level (e.g. resolving client issues).

What you will contribute: (Impact you will have at Uplight):
Help teams create and deliver against OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), monitoring progress and coaching to adjust as necessary.
Establish and drive improvement of key delivery and quality metrics for the teams, leveraging agile best practices and our established processes.
Facilitate delivery-based processes, driving our learning feedback loop to improve and change them as necessary.
Plan and oversee the projects within your program and product portfolio, and provide support to team members on those projects as needed.
Manage and/or support of critical projects within your program.
Support product and client roadmap for the Customer Engagement portfolio, including features, operational efficiencies, automation, configurations, reporting, tech debt reduction, and improving performance.
Work with functional managers to maintain and curate specific training material for enabling teammates on products within your program, across its lifecycle - implementation, operations, reporting, and retirement.
Invest in program-level strategic initiatives (e.g. defining new processes; making the team more effective, product automation and tech-debt reduction).
Maintaining estimate of when the next new project entrant to your program can start (i.e. track general capacity of performing functions to be able to provide a general ballpark of when the next signed project could generally get underway).
