About Green Project: Green Project is a SaaS-based carbon accounting and ESG management platform. Under increasing pressure from regulators, investors, customers and employees, businesses—especially small and medium businesses—are struggling to calculate and report on their GHG emissions.  

Using Green Project’s platform, businesses of any size can begin tracking and monitoring their footprints. Ultimately, our platform provides the tools our customers need to begin tracking and reducing their corporate carbon footprint in compliance with the GHG Protocol.  

Job Overview: At Green Project Technologies our success is defined by our ability to deliver relevant content that generates demos, sales pipeline, and ultimately, new customers. To support our ambitious growth objectives, we are looking for an experienced, creative and motivated global marketing manager. In this role, you will be responsible for working cross-functionally with sales, and product teams to create messaging, positioning, content, use cases, sales tools, and lead generation programs. 

This role requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of B2B marketing principles. Additionally, the role requires SaaS marketing experience, both for SMB and Enterprise businesses across the globe. 

Reporting to the founder & CEO of Green Project Technologies, this person will collaborate closely with the Corporate and Field Marketing Teams of ACT Group, GPTs parent company. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the GPT marketing strategy and own marketing operations  
  • Develop and refine product and industry messaging, use cases, presentations and demos to be used by the Sales organization 
  • Translate our industry-focused initiatives into actionable programs to help fuel the sales pipeline, close deals, and deliver growth. 
  • Be the go-to-market expert, working cross-functionally across Product Management, Marketing and Sales. 
  • Drive industry thought leadership at industry conferences and/or for customer meetings 
  • Lead messaging and positioning strategy and execution for target personas and industries in partnership with Sales and Corporate & Field Marketing teams at ACT, our parent company. 
  • Develop and drive awareness, engagement and lead generation programs to fuel the sales pipeline.  
  • Own and manage the global marketing budget and report on performance metrics for all GPT marketing activities 

Requirements: 

  • 5-8 years of Product Marketing, Industry Marketing, or Go-To-Market background 
  • 1+ years in Climate Tech
  • Expertise in SaaS and B2B technology marketing 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Ability to strategize and craft compelling messaging and customer-facing content (presentations, demo scripting, web copy, etc.) 
  • Establish good working relationships with cross-functional teams and align with global stakeholders 
  • Collaborate with a willingness to drive hands-on tactical execution 

Salary Range: $90,000-$115,000 + bonus. Actual base pay may vary based on various factors such as location, job-related knowledge, skills, level and experience. The base pay is just one component of the total competitive compensation package for employees.  

Location: This position is remote in the United States; however, candidates must be based in East Coast states or Colorado.

Remote Work:  

Green Project embraces remote work, and our team comprises talented individuals who work across the US and in several other countries. Our largest presence is in NYC, and employees in the NYC area are invited to join us for occasional working-in-person days, but these are never required
