Bid Specialist to join our team as we grow our UK business. Area/Department description
Diggia are an international engineering group who provide a suite of services over a range of renewable energy assets; in particular electric vehicle charging infrastructure, ground mounted and rooftop commercial scale and utility scale solar PV, energy efficiency improvements and battery technology.

- Discovering and evaluating new business opportunities.
- Gathering evidence, data and research to answer buyers' bid questions.
- Understanding the procedure and any associated rules that the bid must follow.
- Presenting technical information in a way that is easy to understand.
- Briefing team members on any relevant bids and their responsibilities, as well as reviewing their internal submissions.
- Designing, writing, editing and checking bid documents.
- Submitting bids in a timely manner, ensuring that all requirements are fully met.
Your profile
- Prior experience within the renewable/sustainable energy industry is essential.
- Familiarity with the use of procurement portals.
- Preferably holds a university degree of written nature.
- Displays a high level of IT competency, including Microsoft Office.
- Displays a strong attention to detail.
- Displays the flexibility and adaptability that is essential for an entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Skilled in research, as well as reading and understanding large quantities of text.
- Strong time management and organisational skills to balance competing priorities.
- Ability to establish effective and cooperative working partnerships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to make decisions independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Displays a proactive attitude and ability to use initiative.
