<h1>What we're looking for</h1>
<p>You&rsquo;ll be one of the first hires on Visia&rsquo;s forward-deployed platform team. We&rsquo;re looking for builders with a customer-centric mindset. If face-time with customers, testing ML models on-site, leveraging our proprietary ML platform to drive customer improvements, and being able to work on cutting-edge tech appeals to you, then read on.</p>
<p>You would serve as a bridge between our customers and platform team, driving ML-first improvements and contributing to the Visia platform as we scale across North America.</p>
<h1>Responsibilities</h1>
<ul>
<li>Own Visia platform implementations at customer facilities
<ul>
<li>Run performance/machine learning audits on-site to calibrate our waste composition models</li>
<li>Document audit findings and implementation processes to ensure customer success post-launch</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Collaborate with customers on-site to ensure the system is functioning effectively, address concerns, and provide real-time feedback and support</li>
<li>Work closely with Visia&rsquo;s platform team to critically analyze, troubleshoot, and ideate on real-world additions to the Visia platform</li>
</ul>
<h1>Qualifications</h1>
<ul>
<li>Willingness to travel ~60-70% of your week during busy weeks, and comfortable with getting hands-on in industrial facilities to test system performance</li>
<li>Proven ability to effectively communicate and engage with customers that range in terms of technical expertise</li>
<li>Highly detail-oriented with strong documentation skills</li>
<li>Able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced startup environment</li>
<li>No minimum experience &mdash; just a strong passion for creating positive change in one of the world&rsquo;s most important industries</li>
</ul>

<li>Proficiency in Python and a solid understanding of UNIX command line usage is a plus</li>
<li>Interest in machine learning and Visia&rsquo;s impact in the waste and recycling space</li>
