The Team

Cundall is a multi-disciplinary consultancy, offering a wide variety of engineering and sustainability services, together with complementary specialisms, from locations across the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, the Middle East and North Africa.

 

A Compliance Manager is in place to keep up with the demands of the organisation and to manage Cundall’s compliance to all our ISO standards including implementation, audits, reporting and attainment of accreditations.

 

This role will report to the Compliance Manager.

The Role

The Compliance Coordinator will maintain and monitor the Integrated Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001 and any relevant regulations or legislations.

 

The coordinator will oversee the internal document control, internal audit programs and non-conformance management to support the compliance function with the global framework and accreditations.

 

The role will include:

  • Input data and maintain core IMS databases such as Document Control, Audits, Management Reviews, Non-conformances and Opportunities for Improvements.
  • Management of the document & record control system processing document changes (creation, update, obsoletion) under the IMS scope ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001 and GDPR requirements.
  • Ensure roles and responsibilities in relation to the IMS documents are communicated throughout the business.
  • Support in cross-functional, multi-departmental teams during the development of internal projects directly related to the IMS/ business processes.
  • Liaise with the Internal Audit teams for risk-approach and audit schedule review.
  • Assist with preparation of internal and external audits and participating when necessary.
  • Support with non-conformance, corrective and preventative actions tracking, working with the departments to resolve any gaps.
  • Provide support with any other ad-hoc activities, when required, to facilitate the successful compliance of other departments to IMS / ISO requirements.
  • Develop training materials for new / existing colleagues on IMS related systems.

 

The role is primarily office based and locate in our Newcastle office, although occasional pre-planned travel may be a requirement.

The Skills

Having achieved a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at A to C level, you will want to join our team if you have a desire to provide a truly excellent service, and have strong attention to detail.

 

You will have strong Microsoft Office skills and ideally you will previously worked with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001.

 

The successful candidate will also be a able to work independently and take responsibility for organising and delivering their role, be a good communicator, organised and systematic.
