IT Manager, Internal Controls

Nextracker, Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and versatile IT Manager, Internal Controls to join our Internal Controls Team. In this crucial role, you will contribute significantly to our team's strategy, growth, process excellence, and innovation. We are looking for a highly effective individual with a proven track record in comprehending business processes, identifying risks, and addressing control gaps. It is essential that you possess strong discernment and emotional intelligence, as well as the ability to translate business knowledge into practical solutions. Your responsibilities will include proposing and implementing effective control solutions within systems, processes, or reporting to establish an efficient control environment.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the overarching SOX plan by leading the IT SOX risk assessment, scoping, and controls rationalization & optimization process (including updating controls language and flowcharts as necessary). Serve as a business partner to key stakeholders, advising on process, internal control, system implementation, risk, and compliance activities. Coordinate the testing of IPE (information provided by the entity); SOC reports ITGCs and automated controls within the Nextracker SOX environment. Design test approaches as new controls come into scope and improve upon test approaches for existing controls. Align with IT and business control owners on upcoming changes that will impact the control environment. Advise on SOX considerations for new system implementations.
Your role will involve the following:
Contribute to the overarching SOX plan by leading the IT SOX risk assessment, scoping, and controls rationalization & optimization process (including updating controls language and flowcharts as necessary)

Coordinate the testing of IPE (information provided by the entity), SOC reports, ITGCs, and automated controls within the Cloudflare SOX environment
Design test approaches as new controls come into scope and improve upon test approaches for existing controls
Align with IT and business control owners on upcoming changes that will impact the control environment
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in IT compliance, with a strong focus on SOX
Big 4 public accounting or regional firm experience
In-depth knowledge of SOX requirements, IT controls, and risk management
Proven expertise in designing and implementing SOX ITGCs
Demonstrated success working with internal and external auditors
Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Passionate about IT Compliance and risk management
BS/BA – Information Systems or Finance/Accounting related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (MBA, MS) or relevant certifications (CISA, CISSP, CPA).
Experience with cloud environments and associated compliance requirements.
Familiarity with the latest developments in IT compliance and SOX regulations.
Proficiency in using GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to influence and drive change within the organization.
