We are looking for a Senior Information Security Manager to join our Group CISO team at Stora Enso. In this key role, you will be responsible for advancing our corporate security framework and fostering security culture aligning with our strategy and future ambition.

At Stora Enso, the Group CISO team plays a critical role in shaping a resilient and forward-looking culture for information security and privacy. As a Senior Information Security Manager, you will drive the development, monitoring, and assessment of our security baseline, ensuring it evolves to meet emerging threats, customer expectations, and regulatory demands.  

 

Key aspect of your role will involve translating our security baseline into business terms, making it understandable and actionable for stakeholders across the organization. This includes communicating a comprehensive view of the information security landscape, from technical aspects like AI to regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, and business risks, such as ransomware. 

 

You will be instrumental in transforming identified security improvements into actionable initiatives, leading the change through business cases, programs, and projects that support Stora Enso's information security journey. 

 

With your contribution, you will enhance the group’s information security culture and work closely with our workforce and supply chain. This involves collaboration with external stakeholders, including partners, auditors, and customers, to address security-related matters effectively. 

 

This position is based in Helsinki, Stockholm, or Ostrava, and you will report directly to the Group CISO. We apply hybrid way of working with flexibility to combine on-site and remote days. 

 

Who are we looking for? 

 

To excel in this role, you’ll need a strong track record of networking and driving impactful results across global teams and diverse stakeholders. A deep understanding of security principles and frameworks such as ISO27001 is crucial, along with the ability to implement them effectively. 

 

Your familiarity with key enterprise processes and IT, such as application, network, and cloud architectures, paired with knowledge of related security controls, will be hugely beneficial. While experience in industrial OT/ICS environments is a bonus, it’s your curiosity and commitment to continuous improvement that will set you apart. 

 

We’re looking for someone who’s always eager to learn and grow. While certifications like CISM or CISSP are valuable, we believe practical experience and a hands-on approach are what truly make a difference in this role.
