The Marketing Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing marketing operations processes across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. This role will play a key part in driving operational excellence, ensuring alignment with global marketing strategies, and supporting regional marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of marketing operations, Marketing Tech, and campaign operations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across multiple countries.
What You’ll Do
Collaboration
Develop and implement the EMEA marketing operations strategy in alignment with global marketing objectives and regional business goals
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive operational excellence across the region
Work cross functionally with marketing teams and sales in the region to ensure that the processes are aligned and optimized
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability encouraging cross-functional cooperation and knowledge sharing
Marketing Tech Optimization
Identify and address gaps and opportunities in marketing technology with a focus on driving demand acceleration
Evaluate functionality gaps in the global Martech stack that are specific to the EMEA region, representing the needs of the business in the overall tech stack evolution
Optimize existing tools, ensuring adoption within stakeholder groups
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness of marketing technology integrations
Regional Campaign Support
Partner with regional marketing teams to understand goals, requirements, and challenges; provide operational support to enable the successful execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives
Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows, enhance data management, and optimize campaign execution
Fulfill campaign operations builds in Marketo, partnering with agency support to ensure on-time execution that meets quality standards
Lead marketing compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDP
Performance Measurement and Reporting
Train and enable regional stakeholders to use analytics dashboards related to campaign/channel performance and ROI
Work with Data and Analytics team to address regional requirements for dashboards
Provide regular insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement for regional and EMEA marketing
What You’ll Need
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of related career experience in Marketing - preferably in a technology organization
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of relevant career experience
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience in marketing operations, with a focus on leading regional or global operations initiatives
Ability to drive change, and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration
Deep understanding of marketing operations processes, best practices, and technologies, with the ability to implement and optimize complex workflows to support business outcomes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from data to drive operational improvements
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization - preferably in a global or multinational company
Travel Requirement & Working Conditions
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office
Up to 10% travel
