Mission of the role

We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist. In this role you will:

    • Manage the payroll for our Spanish entities in coordination with our payroll supplier.
    • Coordinate new starters documentation and offboarding process, in collaboration with our external suppliers.
    •  Ensure compliance with our internal processes. Definition of processes and policies related to payroll and onboarding/offboarding.
    • SOX Control Audits.
    • Communicate with finance department ensuring all payroll data are correct for financial reporting (GL, Accruals)
    • Keep monthly variables updated: cantine, private insurance, extra hours, salary changes, holidays.
    • Solve any issue that employees could have regarding payroll and tax. Communication directly with our employees or with our People partners.
    • At least 4 years of experience in Spanish payroll

 

Requirements

  • Solid experience in payroll processing in Spain and multiple European countries, with a detailed understanding of local tax and labor regulations.
  • Technical Competence: Familiarity with payroll software, as well as ability to work with spreadsheets and databases.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with employees of different hierarchical levels and cultures, both verbally and in writing.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision and meticulous attention to detail when processing payroll data and performing complex calculations.
  • Labour Relations Knowledge
  • Degree in Labor Relations, Business Administration, HR
