If so, we are seeking a Sales Advisor, New Construction HVAC Accounts who will engage with the residential HVAC industry to help them work with Enbridge to improve the overall experience for customers connecting to natural gas.

What will you do?

  • Drive natural gas attachment sales results working with key partners within the HVAC industry.

  • Working with marketing to create compelling sales presentations advocating for the continued use of natural gas through Enbridge as a valued partner of choice.

  • Identify and execute strategies that optimize natural gas attachments along with natural gas conservation efforts.

  • Lead the continuous improvement of customer capture rate and egress reporting including the maintenance of data and performance dashboards.

  • Liase with community expansion and conservation departments and their HVAC engagement activities.

  • Provide outreach, training and education to the residential HVAC new construction market on new systems, policies and procedures as they arise (both virtual and in person as required).

  • Provide accurate and timely market outlook, forecasting and recommendations to implement annual sales forecasts.

  • Manage the relationships with key HVAC and industry associations.

  • Support the regional construction teams with strong two-way communications to drive an outstanding connections' experience.

  • Represent Enbridge at external events such as conferences, symposiums, and trade shows as required.

  • Prepare presentations and serve as the presenter/speaker at key events upon request.

Who you are:

You have the following education and skills:

  • University degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, Environmental Studies or Engineering) and 4+ years of directly related experience in B2B Sales, Customer Satisfaction/Care and marketing strategy.

  • Strong understanding of the HVAC industry in Ontario.

  • Knowledge of energy transition, HVAC/customer rebates in market, residential new construction and retrofit market HVAC sales support.

  • Customer satisfaction and result focused.

  • Familiar with residential energy efficient technologies and practical applications.

  • Basic knowledge of building science and lower carbon solutions that include natural gas.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite i.e. EXCEL, WORD, Access, PowerPoint,

  • Comfortable with advocating for natural gas.

  • Outstanding presentation skills.

Preferred:

  • Related demand side management or conservation industry experience.

  • Familiarity with building codes and standards.

  • Potential experience with municipal governments.

Working Conditions:

  • Regular visits to customer facilities, job sites and some overnight travel, mainly within Ontario, is required. A valid Ontario G class driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required.

  • Evening and weekends as required for event participation.

The successful candidate (if external) will go through background checks including criminal check, education and employment verification.
