We are looking for a Service Support Specialist to the Trade Finance Service Team in our Packaging Materials Division. The role reports to Trade Finance Service Team Lead and is based in Helsinki.

 

About the role

As a Specialist you will mainly work with examination of Letter of Credits and creation of necessary documents for bank submission as per documentary credit instruction but can also be assigned other tasks. You will be supporting operational risk processes for Packaging Materials such as Export and Import Letters of Credit, SBLCs, and Supplier Guarantees. (Bill of exchange, and Collections are possible additions).

The job also includes being expert in ICC Uniform Customs & Practices, International Standard Banking Practice, Shipping rules for Letter of Credit cases and Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees (URDG), 2010 revision, ICC Publication No. 758.

 

Required relevant experience, skills and competencies

Process and application skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Trade Finance Service area

• Full 'know-how' and understanding of all Trade Finance processes such as Letters of Credit, Guarantees, and SBLCs

• Expertise in ICC Uniform Customs & Practices

• Expertise in International Standard Banking Practice

• Expertise in Shipping rules for Letter of Credit cases.

• Expertise in Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees (URDG), 2010 revision, ICC Publication No. 758.

• Ability to combine understanding of Stora Enso business and international exporting rules.

• Good knowledge of Stora Enso business across divisions and teams: supply chain, sales and operations logic as well as financial processes and policies.

• Good communication skills

 

Personal skills:

• Understands the business needs, risk factors and expectations.

• Energetic person who gets things done with an analytical, yet pragmatic approach.

• Willingness to take initiative to proactively provide solutions.

Education: 

• Commercial or technical university degree

• Language skills: Fluent in written and spoken English, other language skills are an advantage (especially Finnish).
