JOB TITLE: Cannabis Inventory Data Specialist

AUTHORITY & SUPERVISION: 

  • Reports to the Inventory and Logistics Manager

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Collaborate with the Product Catalog Specialist to ensure Operational teams maintain SKU creation form for introducing new products, as well as maintain a healthy SKU stack that accurately represents current inventory. 
  • Collaborate with Buyer to maintain SKU creation form for 3rd party products entering operational pipeline
  • Work collaboratively with Product Catalog Specialist as well as the Marketing Team to maintain accurate and up to date online assets, descriptions and release cadences in accordance with production
  • Assist in  prioritizing, monitoring, and accurately executing cross functional task allocation through enterprise platforms ie: Jira
  • Assist in transfer of material to processing partners in coordination with Inventory and Logistics team
  • Assist in the monitoring of work in progress and finished good inventory levels and assist purchasing team to accurately procure 3rd party material to meet retail demand needs that the operation can not meet
  • Verify accurate data input and upload for live plants, work in progress, and packaged products
  • Compile all inventory reports and analyze them for data health or discrepancies
  • Research any data health discrepancies and report them immediately to the IT/Data Director and Analyst Team
  • Verify that product being stored/grown is in compliance with mandatory enterprise data formats 
  • Act as a subject matter expert for all Cannabis and Plant Inventory related inquiries
  • Work actively with data and operational teams to compile and input weekly reporting data into enterprise tracking database and software. 
  • Actively monitor and maintain operational enterprise data input streams. Ensure reporting is accurate, communicate inconsistencies with Data representatives
  • Monitor inventory levels and work cross functionally with department leadership and procurement to ensure accurate packaging and supply chain management
  • Assist with weekly inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy within all inventory systems
  • Assist with labeling of third party products as needed
  • Assist with stocking and organizing incoming Solar and third party product
  • Assist in performing quality checks on Solar SKU labels and regulatory tags
  • Assume responsibility of and actively train cultivation/inventory staff to create clone batches and print METRC plant tags with all the necessary information on them
  • Assist leadership with entering genetics into METRC and Dutchie Backoffice
  • Assume responsibility of and actively train cultivation/inventory staff to complete all daily documentation for destroying, transplanting, and tagging of plants in METRC and Dutchie Backoffice
  • Collaborate with Data and IT team to maintain and implement inventory tracking systems and best practices
  • Maintain accurate data and communication associated with R&D and product development initiatives ie: new product launch, pheno hunt 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of METRC and Dutchie is required
  • Cannabis experience required
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to problem solve
  • Practical and proactive thinking
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships in order to gain support and results

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
  • Must pass all required background checks.
  • Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends.
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Occasionally moves up to 30+ pounds of equipment/materials/product within rooms (100 pounds with assistance).
  • This job function may include being in a stationary position, or moving for extended periods of time.
