Full Stack Developer

Founded in 2017, Skoon is a rapidly growing scale-up with a mission to make clean energy accessible and affordable to everyone, always.

In 2023, we secured €5M in Series A funding, which strengthened our leading position as the world’s largest online platform for clean mobile energy systems. We are growing our team and expanding our business internationally. As part of taking the company to the next level, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team!

As a Full Stack Developer, you will; 

• Participate in a multidisciplinary team to build and maintain Skoon’s products, focusing on both backend services (C#/.NET Core) and frontend interfaces (ReactJS).
• Deliver and implement readable, reliable, efficient and easily maintained code, adhering to best practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain well-architected APIs and services to support scalable, reliable products.
• Deploy your code to production.
• Take part in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives, to refine new works, optimise existing systems and ensure team alignment.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to to align on project objectives, discuss the strategic direction, and plan tasks accordingly.
• Be an essential part of the development team, promote knowledge sharing and uphold the high development standards across the team.

Candidate Profile
We are looking for a proficient Software Developer, who can solve problems with speed and precision, and knows the dynamics of a fast-paced start-up. Ideally, you have a background in web development and can align objectives with diverse technical and operational requirements.

We are looking for someone who;

• Has at least 3 years of experience with ReactJS, C# (preferably .NET Core) or similar languages
• Has worked in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with multiple business units
• Has a strong sense of responsibility and takes initiative
• Communicates effectively and encourages team members to do the same through active inclusion and knowledge sharing.
• Is able to handle pressure, self-driven, and can manage expectations

Bonus if you have;

• a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or similar
• affinity with data, data-driven tools and algorithms
  
• excellent problem-solving skills
