Join the Build & Maintenance team based in Bristol as an Aircraft Electrical Technician and help us to achieve our mission of pioneering electric aviation.What success will look like for you, as an Aircraft Build Technician - Mechanical?

As an Aircraft Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the build, commissioning and testing of electric or hybrid aircraft and it’s sub-systems. You will also assist with the development of test rigs & conforming test parts/assemblies and supporting flight test programmes, which may involve temporary overseas deployment. This will be a hands-on role, where you will be challenged to come up with creative solutions to complex build problems and contribute to safe working practices.

You will be working closely with a range of internal teams and external suppliers. The role will require a good degree of interpersonal skill and engagement with colleagues from a range of disciplines/teams in our growing organisation.

What would we like you to bring.

We want you to be successful in your role, in order to achieve this, you will need to have proven experience with aircraft maintenance/overhaul & an accredited aerospace engineering qualification or equivalent experience.

Additionally, you will need good knowledge of structural production techniques, repairs & composites. A good working knowledge of electrical systems (HV) & aircraft/maintenance documentation would also be beneficial.

Ideally, you will have gained this experience through an apprenticeship in the commercial or military aerospace sector but experience from other industries could also be considered.
