What will you be doing?

The production of corrugated cardboard and its processing into packaging is a very specific process. The start of this process begins with our corrugated cardboard machine, where cardboard sheets are produced. These sheets are then processed into boxes in the Processing department by cutting, folding, printing, and die-cutting them. And all of this, of course, according to specific designs, qualities, and sizes that are unique to each customer.

The Processing department operates in a 3-shift system. As a Production Supervisor, you will coordinate the daily production progress of packaging under the supervision of the Assistant Team Leader and Team Leader. You will adjust machines, resolve production and technical issues, and perform various administrative tasks.

Furthermore, in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating tasks and priorities with the (Assistant) Team Leader.
  • Checking the availability of resources (personnel and equipment).
  • Assisting in the setup and adjustment of machinery.
  • Monitoring the processing process.
  • Assisting with critical process components (starting new orders and handling "problem orders").
  • Ensuring the quantity and quality of products.
  • Identifying deviations, adjusting machinery, or escalating to the (Assistant) Team Leader for unresolved issues.
  • Reporting repairs and recording troubleshooting information in the system.
  • Ensuring the transfer of tasks and machinery during shift changes, explaining any special circumstances.
  • Acting as a practical supervisor.
  • Ensuring the implementation of the training program on the shop floor.
  • Participating in improvement teams.

What are we looking for?

  • You have completed a degree in a technical field.
  • You can serve as a mentor to the team by encouraging, motivating, and inspiring them to seek optimizations in processes and systems.
  • You have problem-solving skills and are willing to make decisions, and you are customer and results-oriented.
  • You are resilient to stress and radiate calmness in a hectic production environment.
  • You communicate clearly and convincingly at all levels within the organization.

What do we offer you?

  • Fixed-term contract with the prospect of a permanent employment;
  • A competitive salary with pension scheme and travel allowance;
  • We are a rapidly growing company, so there is also room for you to grow.
