What will you be doing?

The production of corrugated board and its processing into packaging is a very specific process. The start of this process begins with our corrugated board machine, where corrugated board sheets are made. These sheets are then processed into boxes in the Processing department by cutting, folding, printing, and die-cutting them, among other things. And all of this, of course, according to specific designs, qualities, and sizes that are unique to each customer.

Within the Corrugated Board Machine (CBM) department, corrugated board is produced. The rolls of paper (various sizes and qualities) for the production process are stored in the Roll Warehouse. The Roll Warehouse is supervised by a Working Supervisor and consists of Clamp Truck Operators who load and unload. As a production clamp truck operator, you are responsible for loading and unloading trucks and storing rolls of paper in the Roll Warehouse. You will work in a 3-shift system.

Furthermore, your tasks will include:

  • Loading/unloading trucks with rolls using a clamp truck as directed by the supervisor
  • Visual inspection of the paper rolls
  • Identifying quality deviations (such as water and sliding damage) and reporting them to the supervisor;
  • Storing rolls in designated locations, stacking if necessary while considering maximum height;
  • Assisting the Bale Press Operator by picking up and transporting bales to the warehouse/truck;
  • Identifying and reporting malfunctions and defects to the supervisor.

What are we looking for?

  • You have a valid forklift certificate;
  • You are proficient in the Dutch language;
  • You can work with computer systems;
  • You are motivated and show visible initiative;
  • You are able to work well in a team.

What do we offer you?

  • A full-time position at a leading company;
  • 28 vacation days;
  • 20% shift allowance;
  • A fixed-term contract with the possibility of a permanent position;
  • A competitive salary with a pension scheme and travel allowance;
  • A challenging job with room for further development and career growth.
