The Program Manager works closely with core Team Members and program stakeholders to own and successfully implement the projects contracted by Redaptive customers by overseeing, planning, managing, and tracking the progress of the program. They are responsible for high-level external relationship management and act as customer liaisons during solution delivery. They are strategically focused and accountable for customer satisfaction, maintaining customer communication, and managing customer relationships.
 
Program Managers are responsible for masterminding, outlining, and completing programs. They are responsible for vendor management, budget management, risk identification and mitigation, program status reporting, escalations, and project schedules. Program Managers also act as liaisons between the project team and upper-level management to focus attention on their customers’ projects. They prepare and present progress reports to the customer. They work directly with customers to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and timeline. They will engage the Account Team to fulfill any unforeseen customer needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provides strategic, technical, and operational leadership and management support of programs that bring value to our company and customers.
  • Build relationships with teams, providing servant-action-oriented leadership, collaboration, conflict resolution, and effective facilitation to support the creation of high-performance, cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze complex business problems to provide appropriate solutions; implement solutions that leverage technology to accomplish stated strategic business objectives.
  • Assess, manage, and resolve risks to the overall program, its impacts, and potential alternatives, and escalate as required to the appropriate leadership level.
  • Set program objectives and establish clear measures to successfully define and meet program deliverables, budgets, and timelines. Utilize the change control process to track program schedule changes.
  • Define the program's Key Performance Indicators (KPI), training, process standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Responsible for revenue for the team and strategic alignment of the program to business unit objectives.
  • Manage implementation of Scope of Work as the customer’s trusted point of contact – operating as an owner’s representative
  • Hire and manage vendors/contractors.
  • Budget Management, including change orders, vendor invoicing approval, contingency/ allowance management, and margin preservation.
  • Always ensure quality construction standards and safety.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel.
  • Develops methodologies, procedures, and systems to produce program reporting.
  • Delegate program tasks based on program members’ individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
  • Manage programs across multiple delivery streams and multiple complex non-standard product solutions.

Education and Experience

  • BA/BS degree required
  • PMP, desired
  • 4-6 years of program management or 2+ years' experience in a relevant field such as energy services, construction management, energy installation, vendor management
  • Familiar with multi-scope projects, solar and HVAC technology is a plus
  • Customer facing, B2B, complex PM experience
  • Knowledge of the following systems: Microsoft Office suite, Salesforce, Asana (or similar)
  • Program management tool experience (Smartsheet, Procore, or similar)
  • Outstanding knowledge of construction or performance contracting processes (order management, documentation management, process improvement, strategic planning, etc)

Travel

  • 25% of travel time expected for the position, where the travel occurs, such as locally or in specific countries or states, and whether the travel is overnight.

  • Expected annual salary: $102,000 - $118,300 (subject to adjustment for relevant experience, skills, geo location)
  • Annual bonus of 20%, subject to company and individual performance
