The primary purpose of the Supply Chain Analytics Manager position is to drive data-driven decision-making and strategic insights to support build-to-order and engineer-to-order projects within

the organization. This role involves collaborating closely with commodity managers and the tactical procurement team to analyze complex supply chain data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize inventory management, supplier relationships,

and procurement processes. The Supply Chain Analytics Manager plays a critical role in leveraging advanced analytics tools and techniques to enhance operational efficiency, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain, ultimately contributing to the overall success and competitiveness of the organization in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Key team member of the BFC (Basis for Cost) process; develop understanding of project and identify potential supply chain risks
  • Analyze initial BOM for project quoting opportunities for cost and lead-time
  • Build a plan to help ensure purchasing tasks are executed on time versus project planning
  • Collaborate with commodity managers on new engineer-to-order projects
  • Develop and maintain reports using Excel and Power BI to track key performance metrics
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain and procurement
  • Provides analytical sourcing support to commodity managers for BTO machines, aftermarket sales, and ETO projects
  • Provides analytical support to tactical procurement team
  • Communicates POC (Percentage of Completion) for ETO projects
  • Has a high level of independent decision-making authority while performing typical job duties
  • Seek feedback on performance and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • This role does not have direct reports but involves managing critical aspects of the supply chain and procurement processes.
