Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the product development team through the UL certification process, ensuring all products meet UL certification requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, design, marketing, and sales to align product regulatory standards.
  • Lead Yotta development of an ISO 9000 compliant Quality system, culture and infrastructure.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on UL standards, providing guidance to the team on compliance issues.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on design and production Quality standards, providing guidance to the team on compliance issues.
  • Monitor and analyze delivered quality performance, making data-driven decisions to enhance product delivered quality.
  • Interface with regulatory bodies and certification agencies to ensure timely approval of products, execution of audits and resolve any corrective actions identified.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Quality engineer, Certification engineer, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • UL certification and in-depth knowledge of UL standards and certification processes.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project execution.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into action.
  • Familiarity with product development, certification, manufacturing and common problem-solving methodologies, such as 5-why’s, Fishbone, fault trees or equivalent.
