Enbridge is looking for a Supervisor to lead and develop a team of technical specialists within the Transmission Integrity Management Program (TIMP) team. What You Will Do:

  • Assess TIMP asset hazards to develop an understanding of the asset condition, fitness for services and risks associated to the operation of the assets. This requires an understanding of operating practices, cost analysis, process safety, stress analysis, fluid mechanics, metallurgy, welding, and corrosion.

  • Develop, execute, and approve Integrity Plans for Transmission Pipeline Assets.

  • Ensure TIMP technical documents are created following company’s internal processes and practices.

  • Continuously improve TIMP based on management reviews, effectiveness reviews, external independent validation observations, or Internal assessment findings. Update program and associated documentation as required.

  • Continue to develop the Gas Distribution and Storage (GDS) Geohazard Program – establishing methods and processes to effectively monitor, assess, and treat potential risks related to hydro-technical and geotechnical threats.

  • Continue to develop Direct Assessment programs and address risks with difficult to inspect TIMP assets.

  • Oversee the development and review the inputs to the Risk Model related to TIMP Assets and work together with partners to issue recommendations for the integrity program risk plans and mitigation actions.

  • Create short-term and long-term plans (5-10 years) for inspection requirements for TIMP Assets, including scope and budget.

Who You Are:

  • University Degree in Engineering preferably in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or Geotechnical with seven or more years of directly related engineering experience.

  • Registered with PEO as P. Eng is required.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to manage different projects at a time.

  • Ability to motivate employees through flexibility, building relationships, and proven leadership.

  • Ability to think analytically and perform detailed analysis with excellent attention to details.

  • Comprehensive understanding of how technology drives business value.

Working Conditions:

  • Provide emergency on-call support for issues impacting TIMP assets.
