Job Description: Regional Marketing & Communications Specialist – Kuala Lumpur

Environmental Resources Management (ERM), a global leader in sustainability consulting, is seeking an innovative and results-oriented Regional Marketing & Communications Specialist to be based in our Kuala Lumpur office. This role is perfect for candidates who are passionate about sustainability. The position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of marketing and sustainability, leading campaigns that engage key stakeholders and support ERM’s mission of shaping a more sustainable future. The ideal candidate will be an experienced B2B marketer with excellent event management skills, strong digital marketing capabilities, and a solid understanding of integrated marketing campaigns with experience working in the sustainability field and/or interest in sustainability related topics.

They will play a key role in driving brand awareness, generating leads, and enhancing customer engagement across both digital and offline channels. This role reports to the Regional Marketing & Communications Director, Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Management:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify key events, conferences, webinars, and trade shows that align with business objectives in Southeast Asia.
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of events, ensuring smooth operations, brand representation, and customer engagement.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives around events, including virtual and physical events with the goal of maximizing engagement.
  • Work closely with the design team to develop promotional content and materials such as event invites, landing pages, brochures, and digital banners in support of event communications.
  • Partner with sales and business development teams to ensure that event marketing efforts align with lead generation and pipeline goals.

Digital Marketing:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing and social media (plan, create, schedule) campaigns, with a focus on LinkedIn
  • Lead the creation, implementation, and optimization of email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or similar platforms.
  • Monitor email performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, and continuously optimize campaigns.
  • Manage website content updates including landing pages and blog content.

Content Creation & Management:

  • Develop high-quality marketing collateral, including brochures, newsletters, presentations, and social media content.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align messaging with overall marketing goals and company objectives.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all communications materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3 – 5 years related experience in a regional marketing role with a B2B organization.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, including social media and email marketing.
  • Prior experience with email marketing platforms.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
