The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $130.367-$153.374

JOB SUMMARY:
Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships:

•Responsible for providing cost effective fleet maintenance for all company owned vehicle/equipment. Directly responsible for planning, direction and daily management of Garage Supervisors at repair facilities within region. Focus will be on maximizing fleet performance, cost reduction and interfacing with end users at a regional level.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Work closely with Supervisors including garage visits/audits, filling in for time off, directing union workforce, attending operations meetings and communication across all departments.
•Assist in the development, implementation and support of policies and procedures concerning vehicle acquisition and disposal, usage, maintenance, safety and regulatory compliance (30%)
•Assists in the development, implementation and support of fleet management performance metrics, goals and processes required to improve performance (20%)
•Supports and monitors compliance with corporate wide fleet preventative maintenance program. (20%)
•Supports and monitors alternative transportation solutions based on cost, service and regulatory impact (15%)
•Develops, tracks and manages regional fleet budgets (15%)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
•Education & Experience Required:
•Bachelors Degree and at least 10 years of fleet services and/or management experience 
•Experience in fleet management, vehicle maintenance and repair 
•Familiarity with state/federal vehicle program
•Valid commercial drivers license (A endorsed)
•Valid state inspector license (Class 1 & 2); possession of CSME-
•TMC Certification
•MBA or M.S. degree strongly desired

Skills/Abilities:
•Demonstrated knowledge of corporate wide business processes and operations
