This role will focus on supporting ScottishPower’s portfolio of outsourced call centres with prospect data for outbound dialling with the objective of meeting weekly and annual sales targets. You’ll liaise between the Data Management Team and the outsourced call centres, working closely with data suppliers and centre account managers to implement new and existing data sets for outbound dialling.

What you’ll be doing

  • Identify ways to improve performance levels of existing sources of data through better segmentation, targeting or profiling of data
  • Launch these improved sources of data across multiple call centres through innovative briefing techniques ensuring buy-in from centre account managers and data suppliers
  • Constantly review and refresh data sources through identifying strengths and weaknesses of particular data sets, highlighting key selling points and creating positive associations with data sets within the minds of sales agents
  • Ensure relevant information or prompts are made present to agents via the dialler to increase their chances of converting successful sales
  • Maintain a library of all data sets dialled within telesales, working closely with the data providers and call centres to ensure that all compliance elements, including Fair Processing and Privacy notices are logged and monitored in accordance with GDPR
  • Co-ordinate the approval of all data sets for dialling, assuring compliance to GDPR
  • Provide on-site support as required to call centres and account managers in relation to data or dialler related initiatives/incentives
  • Listen in to sales calls and obtain feedback from agents on a regular basis to help improve the quality of the data sources provided to call centres

What you’ll bring

Demonstrable experience within a telesales/call centre role with a strong understanding of the processes including an appreciation of the role of data and diallers and an understanding of call centre performance metrics.

Bringing strong planning, organisation and time management skills with excellent communication skills at all levels.  You’ll be great at problem solving with the ability to work to tight timescales and react to special cause events within the operation.  

Being results focused you’ll have a flexible attitude to working hours to cope with occasional travel, peak workloads and customer/staff requirements.  Coming prepared to acquire new skills associated with flexible management requirements.
